![]() Steam really stuff over a lot of content creators and favor people who learn how to game the system, this is kind of why epic has been landing so many exclusives (not saying they are great either, but you get what I mean).Ī lot of the time these days purchasing physical copies of games gets more money to the dev team than a release on psn, xbl or steam, where the argument used to be used that getting rid of the physical versions would do it, where now the platforms and publishers still take the lionshare of the income. I get why its there but I dont get the cult around it where not one negative word or holding them to account for australian consumer law, their own words or promises can be tolerated as they are sacred. ![]() Having a family member and many mates that are game dev's, steam sadly is a monopoly cult. A lot of kickstarters, dev's, fangamer, limited run etc release some awesome box set games that can also be played drm free.Ī lot of the remasters as well have not been great, sadly theres a huge list of remasters that did a complete fail at what they attempted (XIII, mass effect trilogy etc). Their customer service is sadly it's honestly pretty good for anything that doesn't touch steam. It sadly won't let me redeem and contacting valve support, just like when I cracked open my sealed total war rome 2 collectors edition years later and found they had delisted it due to a dispute with the publisher, won't let you redeem the code, their customer support teams response is "we can't help you". Yeah buddy, all the physical boxed games i've bought that even state in the steam key registration that they're from the physical retail box version, but I might be a bot… Meanwhile wanting to use full services on the platform despite having a few hundred games on it, and they will still restrict your account because you didn't use it for a few years (despite having gamers on it since Half life 2 launched) because you won't pony up and give them any money to prove you are legit. Made a ton of promises about where they would take the platform for the benefit of gamers and it hasn't been the promised utopia. Steam killed that and made physical release once issue coaster sets. Used to be able to buy a pc game, install it and play it. Now excuse me, I have lasagna in the oven and it is almost ready. No chip on shoulder, just hate what it did to the market. It will change your entire being and how you view this world. Not having this game on your Steam library or your video game system of choice would be a crime not against humanity, but life itself. It is a gaming monument that should be experienced by every living being in this universe. I could go on and on about Garfield Kart: Furious Racing, but the reality is that no mere mortal will ever be able to do this game justice. I have a somewhat older PC and I have no problem at all running this game at max settings and having great performance. You really feel you are in Garfield's world. You will never be bored in them, no matter if you are racing against the AI or your friends in local splitscreen or online multiplayer, or challenge yourself in Time Trials to get even faster times. Each of them having their own unique theme and design. Speaking of race tracks, you will be racing in 16 in this game. And believe me, I did play a lot of racing games in my life ( Mario Kart, Need for Speed, Gran Turismo, Forza Motorsport, etc.). Skiding and drifting through the race tracks never felt this satisfying in my entire gaming career. Garfield Kart: Furious Racing has perfect controls. The most important aspect of a kart racer game, or any racing game at all, are the controls. ![]() You play as Garfield, the most famous cat in the comic book world, and his friends in wacky races in tracks based on his world. It is inspired by other kart racer gems such as Race With Ryan and the Mario Kart series. Garfield Kart: Furious Racing is a kart racer video game available for Steam and the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch video game systems. Saying this game will change the landscape of the video game industry forever would be, simply put, an understatement. I speak both english and french, and there is not a single word in both the english and french dictionary that can accurately describe the greatness of Garfield Kart: Furious Racing.
